Shibboleth - the technicalities

Introduction
This event took place on the 29th March 2006 and focused on the technical issues surrounding Shibboleth adoption, usage and maintenance.
Introduction and Identity Provider
Cal presented the first half of the day, covering material of relevance to both Identity and Service providers, followed by that which is of specific interest to Identity Providers.

Service Provider
Jon (D) kicked off the second half of the day with a look at material of specific interest to Service Providers. He then handed over to Malcolm who gave a detailed overview of Durham's efforts to "shibbolize" the Blackboard Virtual Learning Environment.
Finally, Jon (S) gave an overview of the Medical school's project to shibbolize their web services by bridging Shibboleth and Yale CAS.
